The accuracy of manufacture for steel structure workshop is the prerequisites to ensure the accuracy of whole steel structure and the installation. So we need to grasp the straightness and distortion, the distance from connection hole to column floor of column and beam, the processing accuracy of connection hole, the processing accuracy of the straightness of roof beam and connection board of column and beam, the distance of tie bar and supporting connected board on the column and beam relative to column and beam, the distance of purlin board and so on.
Currently, the mid-column of steel structure workshop is consists of H steel and sheet metal. Using the ready-made H steel, the manufacturing accuracy of column is easy to be controlled. When using sheet material to assemble, the column needs to be adjusted to avoid bending. The shape of roof beam is usually “V” and assembled by two or four qis beam. Roof beam is usually assembled by sheet material. And the shape of beam web is usually irregular quadrilateral. The lofting of web needs accuracy technical. Because the size of roof beam is relative to the rigor of column and beam connection and the size of web is influenced to the size of beam directly, the web site is important. In the design of steel structure, there are many requests about roof beam arch. It is to offset the deflection of beam after installation of beam. By this way, the beam will reach installation size exactly. The height of arching is decided by designing. To ensure the camber, we need to adjust the roof beam size. So the difficulty of beam is big than column. To ensure the rigor of beam an column, it is important to check beam size and beam connection board.
There has gap between beam and column after installation. It leads to there bolt not work. Thre is no friction between beam and column. So we add shear bond below the column where near to beam connection board to increase the supporting to roof system. We saw the function is very good. Even though the shear bond is small, the effect is great.
To avoid column, beam, tie bar and other connection deforming, when delivery, we should request transport company to increase supporting point and pad wood and strap firmly to avoid shocking and deform. When loading and unloading, we should use two-point crane. If the column is too long, we should use pole. When stacking at installation point, we should reduce the layer of stacking, not beyond 3 layers, and increase the supporting point to avoid deforming. Don’t ignore the control of delivery, load and unload and stack, or even though it is accurate when manufacture, the steel structure will deform and increase the difficulty when installing.
Quality controlling when installing steel structure workshop
Before installing the steel structure workshop, we should prepare well. Such as before loading, installer should double test steel structure parts. Only when steel structure parts are not deformed and installation size correct, we can load. And after installer confirms the strength of foundation concrete layer reach standard, they need to check the embedded bolt and cup mouth of the steel structure foundation. If find the position of foundation and elevation size deviat, we need to record to adjust the position of steel column.
To increase the accuracy of installation, it is better to install supporting between the column, tie bar and rood supporting first. Afterload and install this part of column, we need to double test the axis and elevation of column. After correct the error, we could use cable wind rope to fix column and then install column supporting, roof beam and beam tie bar. Before install roof beam, we should assemble first, after passing the test, load and install. After loading beam, connect it with high-strength bolts and then install other parts after fix by the bolts. But there is no need to tighten the bolts. After fixing each part, we need to check the axis and elevation of column again. After passing the test, tighten the bolts.
When installing steel structure workshop, every independent bent should form stable construction. All the bolts holes need to be welded at the scene, should be designed to long hole, in this way, it will be convenient to install and adjust, and ensure the accuracy of installation. The single side connection hole of purlin and other second parts should be designed to long hole. Of course, the size of relative gasket should be increased. Most importantly, because the installation of purlin is work high above the ground, siding is thin, if there is error for installation hole, we have to cut and paint. It is difficult and dangerous and the appearance of steel structure workshop is not good. So designing the purlin and the connection hole of beam and column to long hole, or at least single side is designed to long shape is more reasonable.
When installing roof steel system, there will be contradiction between the installation of roof supporting and roof purlin. If installing roof supporting first, then roof purlin will be difficult to install. If installing roof purlin first, the roof supporting will be difficult to install. The usual method is loading all purlin to the roof and fix, and separate them into 4-5 piles. Loading the roof supporting and fixing, and then spread out the purlin. Pay attention, if there is crane system in the steel structure workshop, but the distance from roof to the crane beam is not enough to crane arm, we need to install the crane beam before install roof supporting. If the distance from roof to the crane is big, the installation of crane beam could be later. Generally speaking, it is better to install crane beam first. It is better to the stability of all the construction.
