Color steel plate and gutter installation of steel structure
In the construction of steel structures, installation is also an important link. If you want to install well, you must pay attention to the method. Let's take a look together below.
1. After the roof purlins and wall beams are installed, the roof and wall color steel plates can be installed. Generally, the wall color steel plate is installed first, and then the roof color steel plate is installed to facilitate the connection of the cornice. The color steel plate is installed with a hidden connection and a self-tapping screw connection. The concealed connection fixes the color steel plate on the purlin through the bracket, and uses a biting machine to snap the adjacent color steel plates between the color steel plates in the transverse direction, or glues them with waterproof adhesive (this method is only applicable to the roof). The self-tapping screw connection is to directly fix the color steel plate on the roof purlin or wall beam by self-tapping screws and apply waterproof glue to seal the screw. This method can be used for the roof or wall color steel plate connection. When the color steel plate needs to be extended in the longitudinal direction, the overlap length meets the design requirements, generally ≥250mm, and is connected with self-tapping screws and sealed with waterproof glue.
2. In the installation of color steel plates, attention should be paid to the construction of several key parts: at the eaves of the gables, use cornices to connect the roof and wall color steel plates; the roof ridge cover can be divided into different roof slopes according to the slope of the roof. There are two different methods of equal to 10° and less than 10°; for the position of doors and windows, set up window-side columns on both sides of the window, and connect and fix the columns with wall beams. Install wall beams on the window tops and windowsills. When installing color steel plate walls, Use different specifications of connecting plates to wrap corners on the window top, window sill, and window sides; at the corner of the wall, use the corner plate to connect the interface color steel plate at the corner of the outer wall;
3. Gutter installation. The inner gutter is mostly made of stainless steel and fixed on the edge beam (purlin) of the cornice with stainless steel supports. The spacing of the support frames is about 500mm and bolted. In addition, the inner gutter also uses 2-3mm steel plate to press the sink, and the inner side of the sink is coated with asphalt oil for corrosion protection. The outer gutter is mostly made of colored panels, which are fixed on the steel structure roof panel of the cornice with supports.
