1.Commonly used gutter materials and scope of application
a.Material
At present, there are three kinds of common gutter materials: plate thickness 3~6mm steel plate gutter, plate thickness 0.8~1.2mm stainless steel gutter, plate thickness 0.6mm color steel plate gutter.
b.Scope of application
Steel plate gutter and stainless steel gutter can be applied to most of the steel structure buildings, among which stainless steel gutter is more commonly used in coastal areas and places with strong corrosive gas near the project; color plate gutter is mainly used for hanging gutter outside the steam building and projects with small area and little drainage, often used as external hanging gutter.
2.Gutter connection method
A.Steel plate gutter
a.Installation conditions
The following conditions must exist before the installation of steel plate gutter: the main body of the steel structure (referring to beams and columns) has been installed and adjusted, and all high-strength bolts have been finally screwing. For projects with daughter walls, the daughter wall columns and corresponding wall beams have been installed and adjusted. Steel plate gutter has been carried out in the field. The welding machine and welders for welding have been put in place.
b.Installation
According to the design drawings, after the corresponding steel gutter is backed into place, according to the size and weight of the gutter, the crane is used to lift or manually transport the gutter to the designated installation area, and the gutter is temporarily connected with electric welding immediately. After a trench material is all in place, pull a through line with steel wire along the outside of the trench, adjust the whole trench inside and outside two sides all to the same line, adjust the gap at the trench splice to make the smallest, and temporary fixing with electric welding, then use the welding rod of 3.2mm diameter to weld the bottom horizontal seam and both sides of the straight seam for full welding, welding must pay attention to the welding quality and control the welding current, to prevent the trench from burning through and increasing the welding current. Prevent the trench from burning through and adding unnecessary trouble. The bottom of the trench and the top of the column connection can be intermittent welding, the bottom of the trench and the top plate of the steel column welding fixed to increase the overall solid, the day can not be welded trench, available welding with the above method for temporary fixation, such as conditions permit, can also be tied to the trench with steel wire rope with the wall beam or trench bracket fixed.
c.Drop-in opening.
The location of the gutter dropout is positioned according to the design requirements, and generally the conventional dropout is opened on the side of the steel column or steel beam. When opening the hole, pay attention to the location of the support, try to avoid it, in order to reduce the amount of downspout fittings. It is best to determine the method of fixing the pipe hoop before the hole is opened, so as to shorten the material of fixing the pipe hoop and reduce the cost. The hole can be cut with gas, also can be used to open the hole with angle grinder, it is strictly forbidden to open the hole directly with electric welding. After the hole is opened, the hole will be trimmed with the angle grinder, and then the steel pipe dropout with the trench for welding, welding quality, pay attention to prevent leakage of welding phenomenon. After welding, the welding slag will be cleaned up in time, and the welded metal which is obviously higher than the gutter will be polished by angle grinder until it is basically flat, in order to prevent the occurrence of water at the water outlet, a sledgehammer can be used to smash the water outlet down a bit, and send to facilitate drainage.
d.Paint
After all the welding of the gutter is finished and checked, the weld slag at the welding place will be cleaned again comprehensively, and the paint in the welding area will be cleaned up with an iron brush at the same time, and then repaired with the same anti-rust paint with the same specifications as the original paint. The gutter surface paint is painted before the construction of the roof panel according to the design requirements. If the design does not require, the inside of the steel plate gutter should be painted with an additional neoprene for anti-corrosion treatment.
B.Stainless steel gutter installation
a.stainless steel gutter installation conditions and downpipe opening requirements are the same as the steel plate gutter.
b.stainless steel gutter welding using argon arc welding, welding rod using the same material as the gutter stainless steel wire, the diameter can be the same as the plate thickness. Before formal welding, welders should be organized for trial welding, qualified before starting bulk welding, while welding is best to designate a person to carry out, while arranging an auxiliary worker with the operation, in order to improve the main production efficiency. After the welding of the water outlet, the area should also be appropriate to smash down part of the drainage. Stainless steel welding rod such as mud and sand pollution must be removed before use.
c.because the stainless steel gutter using folded edge processing molding, so there is inevitably the phenomenon of size deviation, so the gutter before shipping on, it should be a comprehensive inspection, try to adjust the gap at the connection to the minimum, before welding with spot welding for spot welding fixed, followed by welding, welding according to the bottom of the gutter first, and then welding the side of the gutter. C.Installation of color plate gutter
a.The installation of color board gutter can be carried out after the installation of roofing board is finished, or it can be installed at the same time with roofing board, which can be flexibly determined according to the site situation.
b.Fixing of color board gutter is divided into two parts: one part is to connect the inner board of gutter with roofing board by self-tapping nails or riveting with pull rivets; the other part is to connect the outer board of gutter with rivets at the folded edge of gutter first by pulling strip of gutter, and the other side of pulling strip is connected with board and purlin by self-tapping nails which fix roofing board at the crest of roofing board, and the connection of gutter and gutter is connected by rivets at the distance of 50mm in two rows according to the requirements of the company's standard drawings. Riveting, board and board lap joint with neutral seal for sealing, lap joint should pay attention to the cleanup of the lap joint surface, after playing glue need to rest a broken time, to be cured after the main adhesive can be moved.
c.The gutter opening can be done directly by cutting machine, the position is according to the design requirements, the gutter bottom and the gutter are fixed by pull rivet according to the requirements of the relevant nodes in the standard drawing set, the processing requirements of sealant at the connection are the same as the gutter connection.
d.The flatness requirement of the color plate gutter is the same as that of the steel plate gutter, because it is mainly decided by the installation quality of the main structure, therefore, before the installation of the gutter, the construction quality of the main structure must be effectively guaranteed, in order to lay a good foundation for the improvement of the installation quality of the gutter.
